Iceland Laxa Laxadalur 2020
DATES: 06–12 July 2020
Fishing For Ice Age Brown Trout
I am excited to offer a beautiful and secluded location on the Laxa in Laxardalur located in the north part of Iceland 90 km from Akureyri. This section of Laxa offers fantastic big wild trout fishing – a big river with long wide flats, large curves and long riffles. It’s a fantastic flyfishing river with an easy access to all areas.
Average sized trout is 5-7 pounds. Wild trout up to 10 pounds have been caught and landed in this part of Laxa. Many renowned fly fishers consider this to be one of the greatest wild brown trout rivers in the world.
