Dear friends, For the past few years I have in cooperation with my contacts in Iceland organized fishing trips to this island of ice-age brown trout. Together we offer guided fishing trips to some of the greatest trout rivers you will ever find. We have FFF certified fly casting instructors working as guides and we operate as fly only catch/release of all fish. From the 7th to the 21st of July 2012 I will be fishing the great Laxá in Mývantssveit. This is a fantastic big brown trout river that has everything. Pocket water, fast runs, slow pools, big pools you name it, this one has it. The fish there are very powerful and can get really big. On our last trip there we had a wild ice-age brown trout around 60 cm every day. The lodge and the food are quite basic. No fancy stuff, but you will live. The fishing however is probably the best trout fishing in the world. This is the ultimate trout fishing experience.
